Entropy Radiator Corporation ("Entropy Radiator," "we," "us") sells radiators, cooling products, and the FC3 fan controller through entropyrad.com and by phone. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and what you can do about it.

Two related documents: our store privacy policy covers the Shopify platform that powers checkout, and the FC3 Controller app privacy policy covers our mobile app, which collects nothing.

Information we collect

Information you give us

Order and contact details — name, billing and shipping address, email address, and phone number.
Payment information — card details are entered by you and handled by our payment processor. See "Payments" below.
Vehicle and application details you share so we can recommend or build the right part.
Correspondence — emails, text messages, social media messages, and notes from phone calls with our sales and support team.

Information collected automatically

Device and usage data — IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring site, and timestamps.
Advertising identifiers — when you arrive from an ad, the click identifier that ad platforms attach to the link (for example Google's gclid or Microsoft's msclkid), so we can tell which advertising actually produces orders.

How we use information

To take, build, and ship your order, and to handle returns and warranty claims.
To provide customer support and answer your questions.
To send order updates and, where you have opted in, marketing email and text messages.
To measure and improve our advertising, so we spend less showing ads to people who do not want them.

To meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

Cookies and tracking

Our site uses cookies and similar technologies for three purposes: making the store work (cart, checkout, login), understanding how the site is used, and measuring advertising. The third-party services below set their own cookies. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies; the store's essential cookies are required for checkout to function.

Analytics and advertising partners

We share limited information with the following services. We do not sell your personal information for money.

Shopify — our e-commerce platform, which processes orders and provides store analytics.
Google (Google Analytics and Google Ads) — website analytics and advertising measurement.
Microsoft Advertising — advertising measurement via the Microsoft UET tag.
Pinterest — advertising measurement.
CallRail — phone call tracking, described below.

Hashed customer information shared with advertising platforms

To measure advertising accurately and to reach existing customers, we share customer information — such as email addresses — with Google in a hashed (irreversibly scrambled) form. Google matches this against its own records to report which ads led to sales and to build audiences of our existing customers. We do this under Google's Customer Match and enhanced conversions programs. Hashing means the data we send cannot be read as your email address. If you prefer not to be included, contact us at the address below and we will remove you.

Phone calls

We advertise tracking phone numbers so we can tell which advertising produces calls. When you call one of our numbers, CallRail records the calling number, the time and length of the call, and which advertisement or web page the number came from.

Email and text messages

If you opt in to marketing email, we send it through our email provider. Marketing emails contain a small tracking image that tells us whether the message was opened and which links were clicked, so we can stop sending mail that nobody reads. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. Order confirmations and shipping notices are transactional and are sent regardless.

By signing up for Entropy Radiator Corp text messaging services, you agree to receive recurring automated marketing messages from Entropy Radiator Corp. Messages may include order specifications, updates, and customer support.

Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the categories above exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Payments

Card payments are processed by our payment gateway. Where you ask us to keep a card on file for future or repeat orders, the card is stored in the gateway's secure vault and we retain only a token and the last four digits — we do not store full card numbers on our own systems.

Sharing your information

We share personal information only with parties who need it to run our business: our e-commerce and hosting providers, payment gateway, shipping carriers (to deliver your order and provide tracking), email and text messaging providers, the advertising and analytics services listed above, and our professional advisers. We also disclose information where required by law, and in connection with a sale or reorganization of the business.

How long we keep information

We keep order records for as long as needed to support warranty claims and to meet tax and accounting requirements. Marketing contact details are kept until you unsubscribe. Website and advertising analytics are kept according to each provider's retention settings.

Your choices and rights

Marketing — unsubscribe from any marketing email, or text STOP to opt out of messages.
Cookies — refuse or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Advertising — opt out of personalized Google advertising at myadcenter.google.com.
Access and deletion — depending on where you live, you may have the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it, and not to be treated differently for exercising those rights. Contact us using the details below and we will respond as the law requires.

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect the information we hold, including encryption in transit and restricted internal access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

Our products and site are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We will post any changes on this page and update the date at the top.
