Description
If you're in the middle of swapping a LSX motor into your Chevelle, you know how much work it can be. Even when you have all of the pieces you think you need, you find out the hard way that they don't all work together. That can be really frustrating.
That frustration ends here with a bolt-in cooling system upgrade for your LSX motor. It has all of the correct connections for your LS motor and has the steam vent port installed too. It bolts in directly to your Chevelle. Depending on which motor mounts you're using, an upper hose from a 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse AWD turbo engine is almost a perfect fit.
This is made with our SUPER BADASS 1-row core with 2-1/16" tubes and 6.5mm tube centers.
The old-school way: the cavemen would use 2-row cores with 1-1/4" tubes or 2-rows with 1-1/2" tubes. With budget 8mm or 10mm fin heights.
The modern high tech way: big tube 1-row 2-1/16" tube core with high density 6.5mm fin heights.
With modern engineering, we developed our SUPER BADASS core which debuted in our Dodge Hellcat TRX radiator. It crushes even a 2-row core with 1-1/2" tubes. TL;DR - without getting into a 30 minute Mr. Wizard dissertation, it will out cool any 2-row core by a country mile.
This is made for running a LSX or LTX(LS1, LS2, LS3, LS7, LQ6, etc.) motor and has both hose connections on the passenger side, a steam vent port and the temperature switch installed directly into the radiator. This bolts in directly – no holes to drill or a trip to the hardware store for a parts hunt or drilling holes in your core support.
