Description

What a genius 7000% BADASS idea: the Hellcat engine in a Dodge RAM Truck. 

For about 6 months, we were inundated with guys asking us to do something for their TRX trucks that needed a serious cooling upgrade. After a lot of engineering work and 3D scanning a lot of the OEM support area, we got to work to make a serious upgrade to the OEM 1-row 1" tube core radiator.

If you're reading this, then you probably know the OEM radiator is not going to cut it in when you're pushing your truck. Like in the desert summer when you want to enjoy your truck with some all-out baha.

This is the first radiator we built with our high-tech BADASS 2" (actually 2-1/16") tube cores with a 6.5mm fin height. It outperforms ANY aftermarket radiator core you will find the measures under 3.5" thick, yet clocks in at just 2-1/16" thick. Allowing it to fit into your TRX almost as smooth as the OEM radiator.

The old-school way: the cavemen would use 2-row cores with 1-1/4" tubes or 2-rows with 1-1/2" tubes. With budget 8mm or 10mm fin heights.

The modern high tech way: big tube 1-row 2" tube core with high density 6.5mm fin heights.

Why does it work: TL;DR without going Mr. Wizard on you, multiple rows and high fin heights make a core very ineffective at cooling with modern electric fans. They choke the fans so much that even the most powerful high performance fans choke and can't move sufficient air through the core.

 

Utilizing billet CNC machined hose connections on the top and bottom, the OEM lower quick disconnect hose also clips right on. As well as the OEM CCHE and condenser. 

For this radiator, there is no sense in trying to upgrade the OEM fan since it is the most powerful electric fan I've ever encountered. It is the reigning champion of BADASS fans. At 21" and pulling almost 85 amps at 13.8 volts, that's almost 1200 watts. Or 1.8 horsepower of cooling. 

Hands down, this fan delivers over 7800 CFM  free flow of air. There is no electric fan in the galaxy that will fit in this truck and one-up this fan. It is the most BADASS electric fan I've tested. And I've tested 100s, possibly 1000s, of fans.

If anyone tries to sell you a fan upgrade for your TRX, run, do not walk, run in the opposite direction. There is nothing available in our galaxy that will outflow the OEM 21" fan on these trucks. Nothing.
